Crosswise (W poprzek) is a journey through the yards and gates of the Piotrkowska street, from the start to the very end, and across. This street is an icon of capitalism, but a step behind the gates, you can find a real life - without cosmetics and official propaganda, so the title is an ironic metaphor. This is a story about gates and yards of the longest street in Poland. Photographs were taken in one day, 15th April 2003. Music is composed and performed by Mateusz Fija?kowski, who uses only his mouth to play, and Andrzej Nowicki was very helpful as a director of this entertainment.
